Our history
Silk Moon, located in Sebastopol, California, was founded in 2007 by Janet Rodina. Silk Moon began as a gallery for fine crafts and handwoven textiles, showcasing the artistry of skilled artisans from countries like Laos, Thailand, Indonesia and other South East Asian countries. The gallery aimed to foster empathy and understanding between cultures through the celebration of ethnic arts and crafts traditions.
Now co-owned by Melanie Goodpasture and Andrea Caron, Silk Moon remains a beloved Sebastopol destination, known for its stylish clothing, curated art, and community engagement. Our product range includes luxurious silk scarves, elegant home decor textiles, high-quality shoes and intricate wearable art, catering to diverse fashion accessory needs. We continue to operate from 195 North Main Street, serving as both a fashion and cultural hub in the region.
